Donald "Don" Sherman Albro, of Chewelah, Washington, passed away on February 24, 2014, in Chewelah. Don was born on September 14, 2014, in Seattle, Washington, the son of Willard and Flora (Daubert) Albro.

Don graduated from high school in 1957. Soon after graduation he found employment at Boeing and worked as a machinist until his retirement in 1994. Then in 1998 he relocated to the Valley, Washington area. Don made his home on the shores of Waitts Lake where he soon made friends by cutting and selling firewood. Due to health issues, he moved to Chewelah in 2008. Don had a great love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours on the lake, fishing and swimming. He also enjoyed hunting, camping ATV's and motorcycles. In more recent years he found fulfillment in feeding and watching the turkeys.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Bill Albro and sister Janet Lemme.

Don is survived by his sons, Daniel Albro and wife, Roxanne of Puyallup, WA. and Kevin Albro; daughter Anna Valdean Albro of Puyallup, WA; grandchildren, Elijah Albro, Eric Albro and Madyson Albro; good friend and caretaker, Judy Hoel of Chewelah, WA.

A memorial service for Mr. Albro will be held at the Valley Bible Church at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society or Union Gospel Mission.
