Mrs. Kay Adams, age 72, of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 6, 1941 in Shirley, Arkansas and had lived in Crockett for the past 35 years. Mrs. Adams was a member of the American Legion and North Loop Baptist Church. She had worked as a beautician in Crockett for many years.

Survivors include son, Joey Adams and wife, Cindy of Latexo; daughter-in-law, Robin Adams Stowe of Crockett; grandchildren, Becca Reed and husband, Shane of Crockett, Jessica Anderson and husband, Joshua of San Antonio, Brandi Adams of Latexo; sister, Judy Nall and husband, Kenny of Nixa, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Anderson, Ryliee Reed; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by husband, Jimmie Adams and son, Bobby Ray Adams.


Funeral services for Mrs. Kay Adams will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Sanders and Rev. Dennis Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
