Mr. Elvin Glenn Ackley, age 69, of Kennard passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Lufkin. He was born September 2, 1946 in Stumpville to parents, Jesse W. Ackley and Mamie Lee Lacina. He was a retired roofer and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Kennard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Mamie Ackley; brother, J.W. Ackley; sister, Shirley Eichholz; and great-grand child, Bentley Hathorn.
Funeral Services for Mr. Elvin Glenn Ackley will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Durham officiating.
