Angelica was a dedicated member of Life Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, making crafts and cooking. She made fantastic burritos, tortillas and tacos. Angelica was always making family members birthday cakes and she also made piñatas and sometimes, she made them too good because they wouldn’t break open. She attended Southeast High School and was a graduate of the 2009 Class of Capitol Hill High School. Angelica was employed at Scott Cleaners and then she went to work for Learning Zone Daycare, and she was a receptionist for Variety Urgent Care. Angelica was very outgoing and had a bubbly personality with a servant’s heart. She had a zest for life and she was always thoughtful of other’s needs. Her first love was her Lord and Savior, being with her husband, Florencio, spending time with her family and friends and having a 7-eleven Big Gulp.
Angelica is survived by her husband, Florencio, of of the home; her mother, Humbertha Avila; 1 sister, Catalina Valdez; 4 brothers, Jose Luis Valdez, Cesario Valdez, Juan Carlos Valdez, and Dristian Valdez, all of Oklahoma City. She is preceded in death by her father, Cesareo.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 18, 2017, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Life Church, located at I-240 & Walker, in Oklahoma City. Interment to follow at Moore Cemetery, Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
