GROVER CITY - Gordon M. Davis, 72, died Sunday morning in
an Arroyo Grande hospital.
Graveside funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at
11 a.m. at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park. Officiating was
the Rev. William Orr of the Community Presbyterian Church
in Pismo Beach. Arrangements were under the direction of
the Sunset Chapel in Grover City.
Mr. Davis was born on Aug. 4, 1905 at Niagara Falls, New York.
A retired housing inspector for the State of California.
He lived in Cayucos for three years before moving to
Grover City in June of 1976. Mr. Davis was a member of the
Moro Bay Grange and the California State Employees Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsa Davis of Grover City; two
daughters, Dorothe Ann Davis of Grover City and Lois Lybolt of
Modesto; and four grandchildren.
