IDA BELLE ALDRICH
---Ida Belle Aldrich, seventy-nine, of Excelsior Springs, died December 31 at a hospital there.
---Funeral services were held Monday, January 4, at the Pisgah Baptist Church there at 10 a.m. Rites were conducted by Rev. Earl McElvire and Rev. James Hatley of Escelsior Springs. She was buried in the La Plata Cemetery at 2 p.m. where graveside services were conducted.
---Mrs. Aldrich was born at Leroy and came to Macon County as a young woman. She was a daughter of William and Minerva Hince.
---She was married to Ben Aldrich on October 15, 1889 at Huntsville. To this union were born five children.
---She was preceded in death by her husband in 1925, one son who died in infancy, her parents, six sisters and two brothers.
---Surviving are one son, Andrew Aldrich of Excelsior Springs, three daughters, Mrs. Vergail Cummins of Excelsior Springs, Mrs. John Wolford of La Plata and Mrs. Forest Conkhite of Atlanta; one half brother, Ed Hince of St. Clair; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Becj of Florida and Mrs. Minnie Abbott of Eugene Oregon; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
---Mrs. Aldrich will be remembered in La Plata and Macon county as she live here many years.
