Walter was the first child of Walter (sr) and Emma Behncke.
Walter and his wife Dora (maiden: Römer, *25.08.1921 -†2004) had five children. Son Günter has already died (*1943 - †2008).
He was a shepherd, like his father, and lived with his family at Neuhardenberg (Brandenburg).
He died aged 96.
