Daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Donniaquo Pacella, she was born on January 11, 1951, in the Bronx.
MaryAnn graduated with a bachelor's degree from Marist College. She worked as a paralegal for 18 years for Legal Services of the Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie. MaryAnn enjoyed reading and was an amazing cook. She was full of compassion with a heart of gold, and would lend a hand to anyone in need. Most important were her children and grandchildren. Her family was her life and she loved spending every free moment with them.
Survivors include her husband, James Gaches; children, Christy Bonini, Jason Bonini (April), Elisa Bonini, Tiffany Bonini (companion, Rich Guarnieri), Adam Bonini (Danielle) and Gina Zullo (companion, Pier DiCamillo); sisters, Carol Pacella and Angela Bellino (Billy); and 11 beloved grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Richie Bonini; and her brother, Joseph Pacella.
Family will receive their friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. at Poughkeepsie Rural Community Mausoleum, South Road, in Poughkeepsie. Entombment will follow.
