Jerry Alsbrooks, Sr., 59 of Providence, died Thursday, June 1 at his home.
He was a member of the Second Baptist Church, a retired coal miner from Island
Creek Coal Co., and a US Navy veteran as well as a very special Pa-Paw.
He was preceded in death by his father Lee Alsbrooks and a brother Leroy.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Alsbrooks of Providence; his mother Ruby
Alsbrooks of Cadiz; one daughter, Darlene Berry of Sebree and one son, Jerry
Alsbrooks, Jr., of Providence; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Dustin, Kari,
Kailee, and Kolbi Alsbrooks and Brennan and Taylor Berry; and two brothers, Rex
Alsbrooks of Cadiz and Wayne Alsbrooks of Providence.
Services were Sunday, June 4 at Melton Funeral Home in Providence with the Rev. Fred Harrison and the Rev. Wayne Hust officiating.
Burial was in Corinth Cemetery at Providence.
