PROVIDENCE — Sharon W. Alsbrooks, 68, Providence, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville after a short illness.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Providence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.H. and Nadine Weldon; one daughter, Shari Alsbrooks; and one son, Stephen Wayne Alsbrooks.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Wayne Alsbrooks; one sister, Celeste Sledge of Princeton, Ky.; and a caregiver, Marcie Kelley of Providence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Melton Funeral Home in Providence. The Rev. Ron Melton will officiate. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery in Webster County.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 8 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
