Mr. Pasquale "Pat" Addio of Port Jervis, N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, N.J. He was 74. He was born July 26, 1941, in Scranton, Pa., the son of the late Anthony J. Addio and the late Anna Madzin Addio. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1961. Pat was a land surveyor and the owner of P.R. Addio Inc., Milford, Pa., and he enjoyed surveying with his faithful employees who were like family. He was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 307 Avenue F., Matamoras, Pa., where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. A past member of the Matamoras/Milford Rotary Club and the past treasurer and a member of the Mill Rift Fire Dept. He was a member of the Port Jervis Elks Lodge BPOE #645 and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders Association. A family statement read: "Pat was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who provided years of support and joy for all who knew him. He enjoyed horses, surveying and most of all his family. We will miss him." He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Douglas Miller, on September 11, 2001; his sister-in-law, Christine Ceccoli; and his brother-in-law, Thomas F. Thomas. Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home Inc., 100 East Main St., Port Jervis, on Friday, October 16, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 307 Ave. F., Matamoras, PA. Burial with military honors will be at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis, N.Y.
