A memorial service for Cindy A. Beachler, 51, Portage, Michigan, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Portage First United Methodist Church, 8740 S. Westnedge Ave., Portage, Michigan.

She passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Borgess Medical Center.

Cindy was born in England on January 15, 1957. She graduated in 1975 from Logansport High School, Logansport, Indiana, where she was the senior class president. She earned her doctorate of audiology from the University of Florida and was a co-owner and a audiologist for Hearing Services and Systems in Portage, Michigan for over 20 years. She was an active member of Portage First United Methodist Church and of the Quota Club.

Cindy is survived by her husband, whom she married on June 24, 1978; their two sons; her mother; her two brothers; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, make a memorial donation to the Portage Central High School Performing Arts Scotland Trip.
