Funeral service for Ms. Thula Alverson, 40 years old, Jenny Lind resident who passed away at Fort Smith, Tuesday, June 18, was held Thursday, June 20 at the McConnell Memorial Chapel in Greenwood. Rev. George H. Hink, pastor of the Greenwood Baptist Church officiated. Burial was at the Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell service.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; and four children, Ruby, Paul Edward, Faye and Lavon, all of the home.
Pall bearers were Bill McGee, Leslie Weir, Kenneth Weir, Charles Banks, Bill Alverson and James Alverson.
