Mrs. Orville Burdick

Lillie Mae Osborne, daughter of Albert and Alice Osborne was born on February 15, 1889 at Brookville, Wis. Her childhood was spent in and around this community.

She was united in marriage in 1906 to Orville Burdick of Centerville. Most of their married life was lived in Spring Valley. To this union was born eight children. Two having passed away in infancy. Her husband Orville Burdick also preceded her in death in Oct. 1948.

In late years she has been making her home in St. Paul.

She entered Anchor hospital October 2nd for operations from which she never recovered. She passed away Nov. 19 at the hospital at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 4 days.

She leaves to mourn her death, six children, Myrtle (Mrs. Robert Blank) of Woodville; Glen of Janesville; Gladys (Mrs. Walter Brown) of Roberts; Melvin of Roberts; Nellie (Mrs. Roger DeYoung) of Janesville; LaVern of New Richmond; also one brother Chet of New Richmond; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Skari Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m., the Rev. O. A. Hofstad, officiating. Interment was made in the Baldwin cemetery.
