Larry was the younger of two sons born to Robert Marshall and Betty Geneva (Jacobs) Burkhart, on Jan 7th, 1951 in Albany, Linn County, Oregon. His older brother, Robert, was born the prior year, in 1950. Larry attended school in Albany, graduating from Albany Union High School in 1969. He lost his father on March 24th, 1970, when he died from a heart attack at the early age of 46 yrs. He served in the U S Army in Vietnam. Larry died on Dec 1st, 1978 and was buried near his father at Willamette Memorial Park in Albany, Linn County, Oregon. His loving mother passed July 23rd, 1989 and was buried with her dear husband and younger son. May they Rest In Peace together.
