Beloved husband of Glenda (Tierce) Blair
Father of Terry Wayne Blair, Janet (Blair) Johnson and Mickey Lee Blair.
Frank Wayne Blair was originally from Oklahoma. He met Glenda Tierce while in Oregon in early 1951 and they married soon after that. Frank became a successful farmer in the Aumsvile, Oregon area, partly through the aid of Glenda's parents, Glen and Minnie Tierce, who helped Frank and Glenda get started with land nearby the family home. But it was Frank's dedicated and hard work that made the farm a success so he could support his family. Frank and Glenda had three children:
Terry Wayne, b.Oct 16, 1951
Janet, b.Oct 7, 1953 and
Mickey, b.Nov 24, 1954.
All of their children graduated from Cascade High School and eventually married. However, during school breaks, and while living at home, they all knew that helping on the family farm was of the utmost importance, for success of the farm depended upon their all working together. Even after getting married, the adult children continued to work, off and on, for their father. He loved his many grandchildren and was beloved by them. It was a terrible shock then, when he died from a heart attack on June 19th, 2009 just 12 days after his 76th birthday celebration. Frank and Glenda Blair had been married for 58 years. He was the love of her life and she has not ever considered marrying again. She still resides on the farm they came to love so many years ago. Their daughter, Jan, and many of their grandchildren live nearby.
Glenda had the ashes of Frank, Terry and Mickey. As of 2019, Frank's ashes are with his daughter, Jan, and Mickey's ashes have been given to his daughter, Natalie. May they all rest in Peace.
