Cecil Delilah Abbott, 98, of Ripley County died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Abbott was born March 19, 1908 in Sweet Water, Texas to the late William Isaac and Bessie (Yarbrough) Kester. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and flowers.
On September 5, 1927, she married John M. (Jack) Abbott in Stilwell, OK. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1985.
Survivors include two daughters, five sons, two sisters, one brother, 20 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
