Anna Rose was born on June 30, 1925 in Livingston, the youngest daughter of Otto and Augustina Ann (Ruzek) Leistiko. She attended Livingston schools until she met the love of her life, Merle (Bud) Adams. Bud and Anna Rose were married on October 31, 1942 in Livingston. They had two children.
In Livingston Anna Rose worked for Wilcoxson's Candies prior to her employment with Mountain States Telephone, where she retired with 25 years of service in 1982. During her retirement, she worked with the Livingston School District lunch program.
Anne Rose loved her family!! She took great interest in the lives and activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very spirited woman with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, and was appreciated throughout the family for her incredible generosity. She was happiest when on the "go" and keeping busy, delivering "Meals on Wheels" for several years, and visiting family or friends who were ill or in need. She enjoyed playing pinochle with her lady friends until poor health limited her ability to attend. She was a member of the Telephone Company Pioneers and the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Anna Rose will be greatly missed by her family, friends and stray cats.
She is survived by her two children Buddy Jr. and Barbara; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister Helen Buckendorf; numerous nieces and nephews; and her good friends and caregivers, Lillian Wilkinson, Gay Copenhaver, Shannon Gardner, Janet Haskins and Marlene Parker, all of Livingston.
A memorial service for Anna Rose will be held on Wednesday, January 5th at 4 p.m., at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Livingston. In lieu of flowers or contributions, please send any donations to the Livingston Humane Society or the charitable organization of your choice.
