C. Fred Blair , 48, died at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.
He was the son of Mrs. Pearl McGinnis of Morgantown
and the late Charles M. Blair,
and was born Oct. 2 1910 in Morgantown.
He was employed by the Hawkins Constructive Company of Fairmont and was working on the Hildebrand Dam.
He had been a member of the National Guard for 16 years and was captain of Company C in Morgantown.
He was also a member of the Spruce Street Methodist Church, Odd Fellows Lodge and Plummers (sp?) Local 152 AFL-CIO.
