Loretta Mae Cook was the daughter of Nina Vansickle and LeRoy Cook of Lancaster, Ohio & the eldest of thier children. She was the grandchild of Goldie Bullock and William McGrady, of Ohio.
She married Franklin Eugene Primmer, who was the father of her sons. Loretta and this husband were divorced.
Her second husband was Walter Richard Barrett, with whom she lived for the remainder of his life [and beyond], in Sandlick, WV.
A homemaker, mother and grandmother; she cared for her own grandmother, mother, and mother-in-law before those ladies left this world. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Sally Cook of Lancaster, Ohio. Loretta was of the Holiness faith.
She made the trip to Ohio on Memorial Day weekend whenever she could, to place flowers on graves.
Left to miss her are her daughter, two sons, two brothers, four grandsons, one granddaughter, six greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews, daughters in law, and her friends.
