Emma was the daughter of Cyranus Hunter and Lydia McBurney Hunter. Her first husband was Charles H Granger. Charles committed suicide. This marriage produced two sons: Harold Granger and a yet missing son. Emmas 2nd marriage was to Edward John Curtiss. Emma died at the birth of her daughter Hazel Viola Curtiss.
