Herman Abitz APPLETON - Herman Abitz 77, of 2012 W. Spencer St., Appleton, died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Appleton Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born May 13, 1885 in Brillion and lived in the area for the past 50 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Men's Club of the church. Survivors include his wife, Ella: three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Boldt, Appleton. Mrs. Harry Buss, Appleton, and Mrs. Joseph Bunda, Menasha; five sons, Norman, Wilbert, Roland and Lester of Appleton and Gerald of Dykesville: two stepsons, Myron Minich and Louis Minich of Pasadena, Calif.: three brothers, Frank, Fond du Lac, Fred and John of Brillion: 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m, Saturday at St. Paul Church, the Rev. F. M. Brandt officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Wichmann Funeral Home until 9:30 .m; Saturday and then at the church after 10 a.m.
