Herman Abitz, 84, of 416, Niagara Ave., died at St. Nicholas Hospital early today after a two-weeks' illness. Born in Sheboygan on May 5, 1888, he was a son of the late Herman and Augusta Abitz. He attended Lincoln School, Mr. Abitz was an employe of Asgrow Seed Co. for many
years and later worked at Lutheran Cemetery. Surviving are a step-daughter Mrs. Darnella Buhk of Sheboygan: four sisters, Mrs. Ida Wagner of Milwaukee, Mrs. Harry Kroos, Mrs. Eleanor Sinn and Miss Valeska Abitz, all of Sheboygan, and two brothers, George of Sheboygan and William of Southgate. California. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother., Funeral services will be at, 1:30 Friday at Nickel's Funeral Home, the Rev. Vernon Jaberg, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
