ABENE, Martha, 85, of Pinellas Park, Fla., passed away June 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters, and her husband, Jack I. Abene. Survivors include her son, Joseph Abene (Keitha); daughter, Margaret L. Medgebow (Allen); grandchildren, Jack Anthony Abene, Joil R.A. Blend, Joel and Robyn Medgebow and Jennifer Myers; great-grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Blend, Jazsmin, Jenna, Joseph C. and Jayden Abene and Leah Myers; and six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will take place at 12:30 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
