Cleo Katherine Adams was born on January 5, 1910, to William Clarence and Anna Westrick Ball on a farm near Rydal, and died October 24, 1980, at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 9 days.
She was united in marriage to Fay Adams on January 1, 1934. To this union one daughter was born. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968.
She has lived in Belleville for 35 years. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church.
She worked as Dispatcher for the Belleville Police Dept. and an instructor at Tri-Chem painting.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Fern Horner; two brothers, Duane Ball, Salina, and Russell Ball, Belleville; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held October 26 from the Assembly of God Church, Belleville, with Pastor Mark Somerville officiating. Burial was in the Brethren Cemetery, Belleville.
