Mrs Elizabeth Abraham, 83, of 112 Humiston, died at St James Hospital at 12:30am Monday. She had been in failing health a year. Her funeral will be at 1:30pm Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church, with Rev Orville Kalkwarf officiating. Burial will be in Rowe cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9pm today at Raleigh J Harris Funeral Home. She was born Jan 17,1891, in Livingston County, a daughter of Daniel and Caroline Vail Holzhauer. She was married to Edward H Abraham in Livingston County Feb 23,1910. He died in 1939. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs Verna Weakley, Pekin; Mrs Blanche Sykes, Pontiac; a son Ernest, RR2 Pontiac; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great granchild. 6 brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and memorials may be made to the church.
