The funeral of Jeverna I Hetland, 95, of Pontiac, a homemaker, will be at 11am Saturday at Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac. The Rev James T Lehmann will officiate. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery, Rowe. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs Abraham, a resident of Humiston Haven, died at 4:40pm Tuesday (Jan 18,1994) at the care center. She was born June 3, 1898, in Pontiac, the daughter of Oscar and Cordelia Olson Hetland. She married Silas Abraham on Jan 14,1915, in Rowe. He died May 5,1972. Survivors include one son John, Pontiac; one daughter, June Tapke, 601 N Main St, Normal; one brother Orin Hetland, Streator; two sisters, Charlotte McGough, Humiston Haven, Pontiac; and Marjorie Tribley Pontiac; six granchildren; 12 great-granchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. One daughter, and one son, one grandson, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. She attended rural schools and was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, and its Anna Circle.
