Giggin loved music: Jazz in particular. She was a talented musician who could make a trumpet speak any emotion or language and a member of the band 'Mood Swings'. She was a elementary school music teacher in Massachusetts, and had recently moved to Fresno, California to teach band. She was a fan of Harry Potter Books and of Alan Rickman. It was easy for us to spend literally hours on the phone and talk until dawn. Every time our spouses would be out of town, we would keep each other company over the phone. We would make it a point to be online, or on the phone and watch Ghost Hunters together every Wednesday night.

We had hoped that someday we would find a way to become neighbors. I know if we had, we would have never gotten a thing done except for talking. We shared our secrets, fears, hopes and dreams. Giggin was taken far too soon.
