This little black ball of fluff came into my life because my grandmother wanted a chowchow. Little did she know that he wasn't a full chowchow, nor did she know he would choose me as his owner.

He was a very frisky pup, and loved ice. I was defrosting our refrigerator (yes back in those days you had to defrost them manually), and he decided to turn it into play time with the chunks of ice as his toys.

He was a healthy puppy, and had little problems growing up. He was my little buddy. His energy level was far beyond mine and it was an effort to keep him occupied.

I had him for 12 years, and during that time he thought he ruled the roost as he was jealous of other animals capturing my attention. My bed became his bed, my food became his as well, even though he had his own Purina Dog Chow.

He loved chasing balls and toys, and would tear them up almost as fast as I could buy them. He passed away from heart ailments at the ripe age of twelve years.
