Louise Boatright of Kiefer, passed away in Oklahoma city at the age of 76.

She has lived most all her life in the Sapulpa area.

Daughter of Archie Lewis Ellis, Sr. and Orpha Viola (Vaughn) Ellis

Mrs. Boatright attended Sapulpa High School and on May 21, 1941 she married Amos Boatright in Sapulpa.

Being active in her church always played a big part in her life. In 1942 she was baptized into the General Assembly of the Church of the First Born.

She loved traveling and was a good homemaker. She played piano, organ and guitar and also sang.

When she was younger she often played music with her brother. She enjoyed playing dominoes and would be found on many occasions sitting on her patio drinking coffee and watching the birds.

She was a wonderful grandmother who acted as if her grandchildren were her life.

She was a very loving person and will be greatly missed by all who's lives she touched.

She is survived by Amos, her loving husband of 60 years, her three children, Jo Ann Brickley and Trinnes of Springfield, Mo., Everett Boatright and Jo Ellen of Henryetta, and Donnetta Kay (Boatright) Moore of Oklahoma City, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a host of church brethren, friends and relatives.

Funeral services - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at the Church of the First Born in Sapulpa with the Rev. Bill Grady, the Rev. James Morris and the Rev. Dewayne Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa, OK. The family has chosen to entrust the care of their loved one to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
