Vivian Naomi Cameron (89) was born in Perry, Jefferson, Kansas January 10, 1898, the daughter of George and Cora Duncan Strange. She died on March 5, 1987 at a Topeka Convalescent center.

Vivian married Roy Cameron in April 1945. He died December 7, 1979. She was a teacher for 50 years. She taught in the Perry district 40 years.

She was a member of the Perry Chapter No. 431 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Perry and later of the Ada Chapter No. 7 of the Order of the Eastern Star i Lawrence. Vivian was also a member of the First Christian Church in Perry, KPERS. and the Pi Lambda Theta sorority at KU,

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Pat Schafer, Denver; a sister, Vadalene Peterson, Perry; and several step-grandchildren.
