Service were conducted by the Rev. R. Van Heukelom and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral home.
Mrs. Alberts, the former Nellie Groot, was born in the Netherlands February 3, 1879. She came to the U. S. at the age of nine. She was married to Christian Alberts, Octorber 9, 1902. they farmed west of Orange City prior to their retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Minnie at home and Mrs. Dick (Katie) Muyskens of Edgerton, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
