Mrs. Mary Ellen Rabon Allsbrook, age 68 of Union Shortcut Road, joined her loving son, Rodney Allsbrook, in Heaven on June 30, 2015. She was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and attended Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where her husband is pastor. Mrs. Allsbrook served as a pastor’s wife for over 40 years and ministered to others in her own special way. She never met a stranger and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, friends, and in church. She enjoyed good food (especially chocolate) and fellowship. Mrs. Allsbrook is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Preacher Ragsdale Allsbrook, that she supported and faithfully served beside in the ministry, three daughters, Alicia Richardson and her husband Charles of Britton’s Neck and Aynor, Misty Pappas and her husband Chuck of Natick, Mass., Jerri Bunch and her husband David, of Monks Corner, one son, Frankie Allsbrook of Greenville, nine grandchildren, Ragan, Walt, and Grace Richardson, Spiro, Lex, Stella Brooke, and Maximos Pappas, and Morgan and Jordan Bunch, three brothers, Billy Rabon of Goose Creek, Kenneth Rabon (Reba) of Conway, Charlie Rabon (Linda) of Lexington, one sister, Betty Rose Hardwick of Conway, two sister in laws, Margaret and Lila Rabon both of Aynor, and many nieces and nephews. She was also a loving foster mother to many children during times when they needed love and kindness the most. She was predeceased by her son, her parents, Mose A. and Mattie Carroll Rabon Martin, a step-father, Oscar Martin, two brothers, Grady and Earl Rabon and one sister in law, Duffy Rabon. The family of Mrs. Allsbrook would like to thank her caregivers for all that they have done over the last weeks, Mrs. Alicia Brown, Mrs. LeeAnn Miller, and Mrs. Joyce.

Visitation will be held July 5, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Pleasant Union Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday July 6, 2015 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon, Rev. Johnny Jenerette, and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.

BURIAL: Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be in Mrs. Allsbrook’s memory to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2940 Minnick Rd. Aynor, SC 29511 Mt. Herman Baptist Church, 2453 Brunson Spring Road Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.
