Mrs. Rachel Ansell Miller, 84 years old died at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ellen Buttermore, of near Star Junction of complications.

She was born June 30, 1860, a daughter of the late John and Martha Ansell of Somerset county, and had resided at Logans Crossing with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell E. Etling, going to Star Junction several weeks ago to visit.

Preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Miller, she leaves the following children: Mrs. Buttermore, John W. Miller of Connellsville, David B. of Monarch and Mrs. Catherine Bricker, Mrs. Etling and Mrs. Edna Thornton of Logans Crossing. There are 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildre.

A brief funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Etling home at Logans Crossing with an additional service at 2:30 o'clock at the Mount Olive United-Brethren Church in charge of William H. Hamilton, pastor of the Leisenring Presbyterian Church. Burial will be made in Mount Olive Cemetery in charge of Funeral Director Charles A. McCormick.
