In 2003 O'Neil and two others formed a Jamaican Reggae group, Voice Mail, after having met at a local talent show. While perfecting the craft, the group saw a rise in fame with chart topping singles titled, Weh Di Time, Gal Hunt, Weddy Time, Ready To Party, and Wacky Dip. O'Neil's life was cut short as a result to five gun shot wounds that occurred at his home during an attempted robbery on May 10, 2010. On June 5, 2010, he was laid to rest leaving behind his parents, life partner, daughter, 9 siblings, bandmates, and his musical supporters - the fans.
