One of Ronald's favorite songs was The Old Rugged Cross.
My husband and the love of my life. He was a wonderful husband - so patient and kind. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and lived his life to reflect it. There will never be another Ronald! He was a man of honesty and integrity. He would help anyone who needed it. We were married in 1968 and were married for 42 years.
He was so sick. The last year was really rough on him. He spent many weeks in the hospital. Even so, he kept going. He continuted to work up to a month before he passed when his body just could not take anymore.
He joined the army and was stationed in Germany during the VietNam war. He served as a MP.
Before he died he told me he saw this great choir in heaven. So large he said, so many people "as far as your eyes could see." I asked him what were they singing and he told me "Holy, Holy, Holy is our Lord God Almighty." When he told me about it, he was truly in awe of the beauty and wonder of it.
In 2007 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The cancer was completely gone. Then in 2008 he was diagnosed with a more aggressive type. This time it was bile duct cancer. He fought the battle hard, but the Lord gave him sweet peace and rest when he called him home on Nov. 22, 2010. He died at home under the care of home hospice.
I still have people tell me that Ronald truly walked a Christian life, and that they still miss him greatly. His life was a true example of what a Christian should be.
He loved to play golf, bowl, fish and hunt.

Ronald was born December 19, 1944, in Edna, Oklahoma, the son of the late Henry Christopher and Eunice Conaway Reinhardt. He married Maggie Cruse on December 24, 1968. He worked for Municipal Operations and Consulting, Inc. Surviving, with his wife, are two children, Ronniea Louise Tycer and her husband, Stephen, of Katy, Texas and Christopher Jack Reinhardt and his wife, Helen, of Spring, Texas; three grandchildren, Sophie, Liam, and Tristan Tycer of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Thelma Damron and Kay Simpson, both of Tulia, Texas.
Ronald was raised in Kress, Texas. Mother Eunice and dad Henry Christopher. Brothers Charles, Gerald: Sisters Thelma Damron and Kay Simpson.
