John "J.R." Ayers, age 89, of Flower Mound, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at his home. He was born February 13, 1924 in Nobility, Texas to John W. Ayers and Emma L. Goatcher Ayers. John married Lois Gore on August 27, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee. She preceded him in death. He is survived by his two daughters, and five grandchildren. John was preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters.
