Miss Jane E. Botsford
Miss Jane Elinor Botsford, 74, who formerly was a teacher, principal and supervisor in schools in Allegany and Harford counties, died Tuesday in Havre De Grace.
She was a daughter of the late Rev. Chauncey and Jane (Beveridge) Botsford.
She graduated from Frostburg State College and Susquehanna University, Sellinsgrove, Pa. She received her master's degree from Columbia University.
She was a member of the Maryland Retired Teachers Association, National Education Association and was a former president of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Cumberland.
She is survived by three sisters, Miss Marion Botsford, Havre De Grace, Mrs. Parke Wagner, Front Royal; and Mrs. Frances Roll, Fairfield, Calif.
Services will be conducted tomorrow at 4 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, here, by Rev. Gerald Ristau, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, Md., of which she was a member. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 3 p.m.
It is requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.
