Mable Louise Aungier of 5771 Cherry Valley Road, LaFayette, died Friday at her home.
Mrs. Aungier was a native of Spafford. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, LaFayette, where she served as a religious education teacher, a member of the parish council and a former president of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Mrs. Aungier also was a former vice chairperson and committeewoman of town of LaFayette Republican Party. She was a member of the LaFayette Grange and the auxiliary of the LaFayette Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard; a son, Ronald of Greensburg, PA; three daughters, Joyce McManus of Elbridge and Karen Markoff and Mary Jo Kelly, both of LaFayette; a brother Harold Schaeffer of Hart Lot; a sister, Eva Bowers of Freeville; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 9:15 am Tuesday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 10 am in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in LaFayette Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York or St. Joseph's Church.
