Civilian Dead - The Ernest Brown Junior Instructional Care Centre Bombing

Margaret "Maggie" Banks was the senior Margaret of the Banks' family, all of whom died on the morning of 29, November 1940 when the bomb shelter that they had taken shelter in was destroyed. Although the complete and correct death count has always been in dispute, it is estimated that close to 200 people died in the tragedy.
Late on the evening of 28th, November 1940, warning to take shelter at Ernest Brown Junior Instructional Care Centre were issued; men, women and children quickly dressed in warm clothing and made their way to the centre. In all, over 300 people entered the basement as the bombs began to fall.
I originally began researching this event, as I thought that I may be distantly related to Margaret and her children; many, many Banks, Sykes and Halls were, bluntly, obliterated, in the Battle of Britain. I have not found a definitive link at this point, and therefore, am putting Margaret's page up more out of respect than geneaology interest, and should someone ask for it to be transferred, of course I will be more than happy to do so.
Maggie, a widow (I have not been able to verify when she was widowed, or from what event), was the mother of four children - Margaret, 17, Hannah, 14, Evelyn, 11 and William ("Billy"), 7. All four huddled together in the basement as the bombings intensified; survivors would detail that at approximately 2 a.m. on the morning of the 29th, a parachute mine made a direct hit to the school, burying many of the victims alive. Many others were killed instantly when the boiler burst, streaming hot water and bursting alight the gas pipes; above the basement, the building was fully ablaze.
For the next two days, the rescue effort was to search for survivors, and then to bring the dead to the surface; just as all hope had been abandoned, a fireman noticed the waving hand of what turned out to be a living twelve year old child. The girl would be the last survivor brought out.
The event has become known as the Durning Road Bombing; a memorial was erected, and the majority of the victims' names are already posted on the Find A Grave site.
I have no knowledge of Maggie's background, surviving family, etc. at this point, and would appreciate any input from anyone, whatsoever.
