Clyde A. Bonds of Birmingham, Alabama went to be with the LORD on June 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. San Francisco Bonds, son, Don Bonds, 6 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by wife, Frances Bonds; sons, Rev. Rick Bonds (Jackie), Mike Bonds (Sharon); grandchildren: Alan, David, Angela, Chris, Don, and Lisa; and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Upper Room Baptist, Irondale on June 16, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on June 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Trussville. Rev. Ken Taylor and Rev. Rick Bonds will officiate. He served in the United States Army and retired from Acme Dust Control. One of Clyde's favorite hobbies was woodworking. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
