Born December 28, 1921

to Joseph & Ruth Primeau in Carthage, South Dakota

Born a twin during a blizzard, Dorothy and Don had a special bond from the beginning.
They were raised in Los Angeles where Dorothy learned to dance. She was
very talented and won many awards and accolades for her artistry.
Along with her dance Dorothy was very active in school and
Graduated 1939 from Polytechnic High School. She was a member of Manipians ,
TRI-Y, Girls Advisory and went on a senior trip to Ansilomor.

Dorothy meant Fred in High School and it was love at first sight.
They married in 1940 and she became a supporter of his football career.
After the birth of their first daughter, Fred went in the Navy and
Dorothy kept the home fires burning. By the end of WWII the family
came back together,and they built a house in the
suburbs to raised their family.

For many years Dorothy drove a bus for Arcadia Unified School.
In 1975. Dorothy & Fred both retired and traveled the country in
their motor home. They loved San Filippi, Mexico and spent much of the
winters there. They had a great group of friends and loved
being a part of the beach life. Dorothy was a talented shell
hunter and amassed an awesome collection.
She created many beautiful objects for her family and friends.

Fred, the love of her life, preceded her in death in 2008.
They were married 68 years.

Dorothy is survived by her fours daughters
Carole (Dan Kelley), Trudy (Bob Hill), Michelle(Genie Ideman) & Laura (Mike Madina).

13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren &
4 great great-grandchildren
