Matilda "Tillie" Alboher Age 93, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006. She was born in 1913 and emigrated from Monastir, Yugoslavia through Ellis Island in 1915. She was the beloved daughter of Mordeci and Palomba Alboher. She was the last surviving sibling of Jack M. Alboher, Murray Alboher, Hymie Alboher, Isaac Alboher Albert Alboher, Sue Yosha and Sally Persh. She was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and worked for Kahn's tailoring and then for Wasson's Department store as a house wares manager for over 40 years. She was a member of the Deborah sisterhood and Etz Chaim Sephardic Congregation.
She is survived by nieces: Phyliss Diamond, Pam Alboher-Ray and Rita Alboher; nephews: Michael J. Alboher, Howard Yosha and Mike Yosha; and 7 great-nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.n. in Etz Chaim Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to The Etz Chaim Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Aaron- Ruben-Nelson Mortuary.
