ROBERT DALE KILHEFNER Valparaiso, Indiana Age 70 of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Porter Hospital Valparaiso Campus. He was born on April 29, 1936 in Denver, Pennsylvania to Lester and Mary Charlotte (Reider) Kilhefner. Dale was a building materials manager and salesman for Wolohan Lumber Company. He was a US Army Veteran, member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed golfing and playing cards. On August 23, 1958 in Denver, Pennsylvania Dale married Marion M. Meckley who preceded him in death on July 19, 2006. He is survived by two children: son, Robert S. (Jill A.) Kilhefner of Valparaiso; daughter, Melissa J. Kilhefner of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Katherine A. and Erin E. Kilhefner; and two sisters, Mardell Sweigart of Denver, PA and Sylvia (Gildo) Guizzetti of Landenburg, PA. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, John Strohl. Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd Valparaiso with Rev. Steve Bongard officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
