Kilhefner, Marion Marion M. Kilhefner Valparaiso Marion M. Kilhefner, age 69, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso. She was born on December 12, 1936 in Denver, PA to Melvin M. and Elva B. (Walters) Meckley. Marion worked as a registered nurse for 30 years. She was a member of the American Nurses Association and life member of the Reading Hospital Alumni Association, Reading, PA. Marion enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. On August 23, 1958 in Denver, PA,she married Robert Dale Kilhefner who survives along with two children: Robert S. (Jill A.) Kilhefner of Valparaiso and Melissa J. Kilhefner of Indianapolis; mother, Elva B. Meckley of Ephrata, PA; two grandchildren: Katherine A. and Erin E. Kilhefner; and three brothers: Marlan J. Meckley of Reading, PA, Mervin E. (Erika) Meckley of Wilmington, DE and Merle R. (Mary) Meckley of Wernersville, PA. Marion was preceded in death by her father. Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, funeral services will be held Monday, July 24, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso with clergy of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
