Levota Marie Walters was born in the small village of Artesy that sits just west of Eufaula to Bert Joseph and Mattie Veatrice Baker Walters on 24 September 1934. Levota withdrew from Eufaula High School during the fall of her senior year to marry Ronnie Clel Coffey on 27 October 1951; she was seventeen and Ronnie was nineteen. Levota left her earthly body for the glorious reunion with Christ on Tuesday, 30 July 2013 at 11:06 PM. Levota's funeral service was held on Friday, 2 August at the Claremore Assembly of God Church in Claremore, Oklahoma; Pastors Dave Mewbourne of the Claremore Assembly of God Church and Mark Hiehle of the Claremore Church of the Nazarene officiated. Levota was committed to the earth at a graveside service that followed at Eufaula's Greenwood Cemetery.
