Son of Frank L. and Cora Winkler Allison; born November 23, 1899, Ogden, Henry County, Ind. Moved to Kokomo, Ind., in 1904. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army December 11, 1915, and was sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Assigned to Company K, 34th Infantry. Served on the Mexican Border in 1916. Went overseas in August, 1918, and was killed in action October 22, 1918. Survived by widow, Alberta Anderberg Allison. Initially buried in Europe, his remains were re-interred in Crown Point Cemetery on July 4, 1921.
