Ruby Dell Andrew, age 94 of Rockwall, TX, passed away June 10, 2010. She was born August 11, 1915, in Prisilla, TX, to Allie Cuen Barnes and Exer Lena (Cooper) Barnes. Mrs. Andrew retired from the Rockwall ISD, where she enjoyed her job as a cafeteria worker for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church of Rockwall.
Mrs. Andrew is survived by her daughter: Sandra Bennett & husband Rick of Mesquite, TX; granddaughter: Paula & Dennis Clark of Royse City, TX; great grandsons: Paul David Aussicker and Taylor Clinton Oden, both of Royse City, TX; brother: Ace Barnes of Odessa, TX; and sisters: Helen Stafford of Arlington, TX, and Mae Townsend of St. Augustine, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul R. Andrew; grandson: Hugh Thomas Sorrells; and two sisters: Allie Williamson and Bertha Carr.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Dr. Joe Pool officiating. Interment will follow in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery.
