`ADAMS -- Dorothy Glynn, 84, a longtime resident of Bartlesville and widow of K.S. "Boots" Adams, died Thursday, in Bartlesville. Private family Memorial service will be held. The family will receive visitors at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall in Bartlesville, OK, from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 5, 2005. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory in Bartlesville. In lieu of flowers you may contribute to the charity of your choice, or mail contributions to Dorothy Glynn Adams Memorial Fund, c/o Stacey Copeland, Arvest Bank, P.O. Box 999, Bartlesville, OK 74005. Proceeds to benefit the Service League, Endowment Fund. Mrs. Adams was born November 5, 1920, in Madison County, TX, to Emma Bell and George Henry Stephens. She lived in Houston and attended the University of Houston. She was living in San Antonio, TX, when she married Adams on November 4, 1946, and moved to Bartlesville. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1975. Mrs. Adams was active in the Bartlesville community, serving on several boards, including Bluestem Regional Medical Foundation, and was one of the Founders of the Service League of Bartlesville. She also served on the boards of the Retina Research Foundation, and the Eisenhower Medical Center National Council of Palm Springs, California. Survivors include 5 children, Stephen Adams, Kenneth Adams, Gary Adams, Stephanie Walthall, Lisa Stinson; 1 stepson, K.S. "Bud" Adams, Jr.; and 19 grandchildren.
