Dennis was the son of Dennis and Elizabeth Himlin Addis. Dennis was a 32 year member of Iron Workers local 580. He served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 and remained a strong friend to the paralyzed veterans. Surviving are his mother , three children James and Dennis Addis and Kristine Keirns, his brother John and sister Denise, three grandchildren April, Caleigh and Kyle Christopher, his soul mate and best friend Ellen Sadoff.
